1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By downloading or using Warranty & Return Tracker (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. This Agreement is drafted in the English language. Any translation provided is for convenience only; in the event of a conflict, the English version shall prevail.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

The App is a tool for organizing shopping documents. It uses Artificial Intelligence to provide estimated data extraction and to generate suggested document templates ("Claim Packs").

3. INACCURACY AND DEADLINE DISCLAIMER (IMPORTANT)

• Processing Errors: You acknowledge that AI processing of tickets, bills, and invoices is NOT 100% ACCURATE. The App may misread dates, merchant names, or currency amounts.
• Estimated Deadlines: All return windows and warranty expiration dates calculated by the App are ASSUMPTIONS AND ESTIMATES ONLY. They are not definitive legal or contractual dates.
• No Policy Monitoring: Retailers may change their policies at any time. The App’s internal presets may be outdated or incorrect.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITY

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF ALL DATA. You must manually cross-reference every date and amount generated by the App against your physical receipt and the merchant’s official policy. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP AS YOUR SOLE SOURCE OF TRUTH FOR DEADLINES.

5. CLAIM PACK PDF DISCLAIMER

The "Claim Pack" is a non-binding draft template. It is provided "as is" and does not guarantee that a retailer or manufacturer will honor a return or warranty claim. The decision to accept a claim rests entirely with the third-party merchant.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES, MISSED RETURN WINDOWS, OR DENIED WARRANTY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM APP ERRORS OR AI "HALLUCINATIONS."

• EU/UK Users: Nothing in these terms shall limit liability for death, personal injury, or gross negligence that cannot be excluded under local consumer law.

7. STATUTORY RIGHTS (EU/UK USERS)

Users in the European Union may be entitled to a statutory 2-year legal guarantee on goods. The App’s estimates do not override your local statutory rights.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany/Munich, without regard to conflict of law principles.
